2009 DOL
Green Book
Now Available
The
2009 DOL Green Book sets forth the questions
posed to staff of the Department of Labor’s Employee
Benefits Security Administration by representatives
of the Enrolled Actuaries Program Committee.
Included also are summaries of the responses to
those questions. The summary responses are intended
to reflect as accurately as possible the statements
made by the government representatives, but those
responses are merely the unofficial, nonbinding
views of the staff as of the time of response and do
not necessarily represent the official positions of
the Department of Labor. Further, this report on the
responses was prepared by representatives of the
Enrolled Actuaries Program Committee.
Policy
Regarding License Fee for Company Intranet Usage of
EA Meeting Recordings and Transcripts
We are offering a one-year “license,” renewable each
calendar year for companies to share EA Meeting
materials on their “intranet.” Our policy is a
sliding scale to fit all companies. This license
covers the internal use on the license purchaser’s
company “intranet” only. This does not give
permission for multiple copies to be
printed/published or distributed. Printing,
publishing, and distributing beyond license
agreement on the company intranet may only be done
through the Conference of Consulting Actuaries.
Requesting Duplicate
EA Certificates
Certificates
from past EA Meetings may be
requested through the CCA web site. The fee to
obtain these certificates are $25 for CCA members and $40
for non-members.

Opportunities are now Available
The
Enrolled Actuaries Meeting is the largest continuing
education meeting for Enrolled Actuaries. Networking
opportunities via social events are an integral
aspect of the meeting. Many of these events occur in
the exhibit hall and provide the ideal forum for
exhibiting your company’s goods and services.
The
Exhibitor Brochure for the 2010 Enrolled Actuaries
Meeting provides the details for exhibiting at
the meeting, as well as the application to reserve a
booth. If you would like to further enhance your
visibility during the meeting, please consider one
of the
sponsorship opportunities at the Enrolled Actuaries
Meeting. In addition to the recognition you
receive during your sponsored event, you also
receive an exhibit booth for the EA Meeting.
If
you have questions regarding exhibiting or
sponsoring an event during the Enrolled Actuaries
Meeting, please contact
Matt Noncek
at the CCA office.
